Please pay attention to the words "we work." We do not ask our clients to keystroke all necessary information into a computer and then transmit it to us. We do the keystroking. Our clients simply have to send us a copy of the contract(s) or time sheet(s), and the necessary tax withholding forms. We also need a copy of the media buy, or traffic instructions, if available. We take it from there. We do this for several reasons:
- If a client has a high volume of talent payments, it would require hiring a full-time person simply to take care of the keystroking
- If a mistake is made in the initial keystroking of the information, we don't have any way to catch it until it is too late
- Our job is to simplify a client's life, not complicate it. We don't think asking a producer or broadcast manager to do extra paperwork accomplishes anything but more work for him/her.
Once the initial session payments are made, we provide timely notices to remind you when additional payment is required. We never assume that a lack of response to a reminder means "don't pay it." If we don't hear from you, we will either follow-up with another reminder or phone call.
Our invoices are broken down so that you can see the exact distribution of funds. We submit all necessary forms to the applicable union and/or agent, as well as preparing and mailing all necessary tax forms.
